This outstanding statement necklace is a magnificent creation of collectible artisan jewelry. The beautiful deer necklace has a unique handmade pendant that was hand crafted in mixed media, enhanced with natural brown agate stone and a real ammonite fossil incorporated into it. The faces of the deer are an interpretation of a “Buck and Doe deer in love”. When I saw this this fabulous Susan Sorrentino unique, artisan, handmade pendant, I fell in love with it and I had to create a necklace with it.  I made the necklace using beads in colors of citrine yellow, green, and amber brown glass beads, in various sizes of round and bicone shapes, and added handmade, glass beaded beads, that add special interest to the fascinating design and texture of the pendant.  And, there are matching earrings. HOW I BECAME INTERESTED IN CREATING JEWELRY

Although I have always loved jewelry, and I have collected beautiful and unique designs of new and Vintage Designer costume jewelry, creating jewelry, myself, was never an interest of mine.  In fact, it was the last thing that I thought that I would ever do!  I fell into it, only, by chance. Once bitten by the “Beading Bug”, I found myself, totally, obsessed with this craft and its’ varied styles and techniques.  I, soon, became one of the “Beaders”, myself, and joined millions of others.  I am, now, a member of the “Jewelry On Etsy Team” (JETs) and have my own jewelry shop on Etsy.
