You have heard of the Exodus, right? Maybe you saw the movie, The Ten Commandments, and saw Moses part the Red Sea? Did you ever think that it could be more than just a story? Do you know that there is documented scientific evidence for the Red Sea Crossing? Have you ever considered that the Sinai Peninsula, that is purportedly identified as the exact location of Mt. Sinai, might not be where it, actually, is? There are several explorers who have traced Mt. Sinai to a different location, by following, the exact words written in the Bible, where they have found artifacts and archaeological findings, that confirm the writings of the Bible. Here is one video that will change all that you have heard about Mt. A BRIEF HISTORY OF “IN GOD WE TRUST”:

Back during the Civil War the Treasury Secretary, by the name of Salmon P. Chase, instructed the director of the U.S. mint, at Philadelphia, to prepare a motto for this Nation’s coins. His memo began with the words “Dear Sir, No Nation can be strong except in the strength of God, or safe except in His defense. The trust of our people in God should be declared on our National coins”.

After a few options were considered, Chase settled on IN GOD WE TRUST. It was put before Congress and was approved. The motto first appeared on the 1864 two-cent coin. It was placed on the penny in 1909 and on the dime coin in 1916. In 1938 all of the other United States coins were inscribed with IN GOD WE TRUST.

In 1907 a new double-eagle gold coin was minted without the motto and the public insisted that Congress restore it to the coin.

In 1956, Congress and President Eisenhower agreed to declare IN GOD WE TRUST as the motto of the United States. The motto then began to appear on the paper money also.

This Nation has been greatly blessed by God, and the words “GOD BLESS AMERICA” are still being voiced by our people. Hopefully, we will honor God by bringing His 10 Commandments back into the land, to show Him that we deserve His blessings.
